The Greater Forest City Business Alliance (GFCBA) is excited to kick off our 2026-2027 membership drive. As a small, close-knit community, we know that our strength comes from supporting one another. The GFCBA is dedicated to helping local businesses grow and succeed while creating opportunities that make Forest City a vibrant place to live, 

work and visit. 

Over the past year, our organization has proudly grown to 125 members who share our vision of a stronger local economy and thriving community. Through your continued support, we've been able to accomplish meaningful projects and host exciting events that benefit our businesses, residents, and visitors including: 

• Trail Town Festival- showcasing our incredible local trails, businesses and outdoor recreation opportunities. Some of the weeks long activities from many organizations include downtown food vendors, kid's activities, light parade, fishing derby, chicken BBQ, golf tournament, fireworks, and music. 

• Summer potted plants to our downtown and surrounding members. 

• Halloween on Main- bringing families, friends, and neighbors together for a fun and festive celebration. Trail Trot 5K Run, this is in memory of an amazing local Forest City runner with a run start at the Forest City trail head. 

• Christmas Mixer and Holiday Lights- networking, celebrating, and lighting up Main Street to kick off the holiday season. 

• New Electric Outlets on Main Street- providing power for decorations, events, and the new seasonal lights that make our downtown shine. 

These efforts along with our partnerships with local entities allow us to support initiatives that improve our town and attract more visitors to our local businesses. 

As A GFCBA member, your business gains access to valuable tools and opportunities, including:

• Inclusion in the Forest City Visitors Guide and Business Map. 

• Opportunities to submit your events for inclusion on our community calendar 

• Social media spotlights showcasing your business and services

With the professional support of Golden Owl Consulting, our online platforms continue to grow giving our members greater visibility and helping businesses connect with customers and the community. New this year our members will be able to join and pay online at our website www.visitforestcitypa.com. 

Our organization continues to strive for growth and with that comes the expansion of vision, expectations, and goals. We are always interested to hear from our members and learn how we can continue to serve you and our community. We have many opportunities for you to contribute through volunteer work. Help is needed in a variety of areas including grant writing, membership, fundraising, and event planning.
