Assurance Home Watch NEPA Earns Fourth-Year Accreditation from National Home Watch Association

FOREST CITY, PA — Assurance Home Watch NEPA has renewed its accreditation with the National Home Watch Association (NHWA) for the fourth consecutive year, reinforcing its position as a trusted provider of professional Home Watch services throughout Northeast Pennsylvania.

Jennifer Mayers has also earned the Certified Home Watch Professional (CHWP) designation through the NHWA certification program, demonstrating the company’s continued commitment to professionalism, education, and industry-leading standards.

Founded by Kenneth and Jennifer Mayers, Assurance Home Watch NEPA provides professional visual home inspections and concierge services for seasonal residents, vacation homeowners, short-term rental property owners, and homeowners who are away from their properties for extended periods of time.

The National Home Watch Association, established in 2009, is the leading organization representing the Home Watch industry across the United States and Canada. Home Watch is a professional service involving scheduled visual inspections of homes and properties while homeowners are away. Whether a homeowner is traveling, living seasonally elsewhere, managing a vacation home, or overseeing a short-term rental remotely, Home Watch services help identify obvious issues such as storm damage, water leaks, HVAC failures, or security concerns before they escalate into major and costly repairs. Accredited member companies are vetted for professionalism, ethics, insurance requirements, and industry compliance.

With more than 25 years living and working in the region and family roots spanning four generations, the Mayers family has built strong ties throughout Northeast Pennsylvania. Their commitment to the community, combined with extensive professional experience in healthcare leadership and operations management, has helped establish Assurance Home Watch NEPA as a respected and dependable local business.

“As homeowners ourselves, we understand how important it is to know your home is being cared for by someone you trust,” said Jennifer Mayers, Co-Founder and Manager of Assurance Home Watch NEPA. “Our goal is to provide homeowners with peace of mind through dependable communication, professional oversight, and personalized service.”

Assurance Home Watch NEPA serves Wayne County, Susquehanna County, Pike County and Lackawanna County as well as surrounding communities, providing routine home checks, storm monitoring, emergency response coordination, and concierge services tailored to homeowners’ needs.
